ITBMS is separate from the Selective Consumption Tax (ISC) and other taxes. Certain products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, may also be subject to selective taxes; these should not be added to the ITBMS percentage shown by the calculator.


This calculator does not yet use updating exchange rates. You need to set the currency conversion rate yourself in the 'Your own rate' field. The values 'CUR_FROM' and 'CUR_TO' are used as the currency names.


By selecting the 'Taxation country' option for either 'From currency' or 'To currency', you determine which currency the VAT is calculated in. This can affect how the figures are rounded.
